When to make it official after dating

From Woods: This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral.Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn.Tiger Woods has made plenty of mistakes in his life. Three years later, a reformed and more disciplined Woods has emerged with another blonde-haired beauty, but this time he's not sneaking around. In 2010, the golf superstar's ex-wife caught him in the infamous cheating scandal that rocked the sports world. On Monday, Woods told his fans via Facebook that he's officially dating Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

After all, the only true way to confirm the news is to make it public on Facebook (even for uber-famous celebrities, apparently).

I was thinking maybe 3-4 months is long enough, but 6 months guarantees me seeing nearly every aspect of this person. I really want to take my time, but at the same time I don't want to make him feel like I'm waisting his time.

6 months is quite a lot of time to invest in someone who isn't even your bf/gf. 6 months seems to me an excessively long time to make something official.

placing a time limit on it in general might be a bit misleading- it really depends how often you see eachother, how long for and what you're doing at the time.

Like, if you're seeing eachother 4 times a week, you'd think that 2 months would be really the maximum amount of time you'd need to decide whether or not to make it official- like, that's over 30 dates.
